Strategy Execution Training and Certification Program
Bridge the gap between strategic planning and effective implementation.
The Strategy Execution Professional Certification program is offered in conjuction with and the Strategy Management Group (SMG), with an optional joint certification from The George Washington University Center for Excellence in Public Leadership (GW CEPL).
This program is designed to bridge the gap between strategic planning and effective implementation. The program teaches leaders, managers, and analysts how to take an existing strategic plan and establish strategy implementation processes to ensure that enterprise-wide strategy is executed well. It is not a course on strategy development or planning, but rather a course on how existing strategic plans can be improved and implemented.
Participants will leave this course with a customized Roadmap for executing their organization’s strategy. The program recognizes that “one size does not fit all” and that each organization is unique. Each delegate’s RoadMap will include recommendations for improving processes and for regularly evaluating the effectiveness of strategy execution.
The certification focuses on five critical strategy execution imperatives, providing participants with practical tools and techniques to transform abstract goals into actionable strategies. Unlike traditional strategic planning courses, this program emphasizes hands-on application, equipping leaders, managers, and analysts with the skills to overcome common execution challenges.
The course content covers essential aspects of strategy execution, including leadership and governance, creating a performance culture, aligning and operationalizing strategy, project/portfolio management, and performance analysis and reporting.
